Prosser Public Library presents
Gossamer Wings, a concert by a talented trio of local musicians who perform Brazilian, folk, jazz, and popular songs.
Caroline Jestin (vocals), is a professional singer who has performed in the Hartford area for over 35 years. Classically trained at Hartt, she performed in classical recitals for 20 years before she found a home singing popular songs with other like-minded musicians.
Scott Mitchell (guitar), began playing the guitar in elementary school. He went on to study classical guitar for 3 years and brings his talent to jazz, rock, folk, Brazilian, and popular music. In addition to Gossamer Wings, he plays bass guitar with the Preiser & O'Brien band.
Mark Shapiro (clarinet), studied at the Hartt School, played in his high school band and orchestra and performed in the Connecticut All-State Band, the All-State Orchestra, and the All-Eastern Band. He picked up the clarinet again a few years ago and is currently a member of six musical groups in the area.
