Directed by Academy Award nominee Diane Kurys. In her mid-thirties, Ann still knows little of her family's past. After her mother's death in the 1980s, Ann discovers old photos and letters which make her take a closer look at her parents' lives in the early years of post WWII. A mysterious uncle whom family members seem intent on forgetting is revealed by her research. His story and why he is 'forgotten' comes out.
