Sound of New England Chorus is a group of more than forty women from central Connecticut and southern Massachusetts who love to sing barbershop music. The chorus was founded in 1993, and since that time, the chorus has won first place in the regional contest several times, qualifying them to compete at the international contests. The group’s director since 1993 has been Marion Devokaitis, a designated "Master Director" in the Sweet Adelines organization.
Twenty of the chorus members will present tonight’s concert. Registration is appreciated, online at www.prosserlibrary.info or by calling 860-243-9721.
