Bloomfield author Martin Herman will visit Prosser Public Library to talk about his first novel, The Jefferson Files. A serious crime takes place along the Potomac River within clear sight of the president's mansion. The year is 1806, Thomas Jefferson is president, and the victim worked for the Speaker of the House of Representatives. It soon becomes clear that a deeply rooted, powerful secret society was involved with the crime. Proving it, without destroying the administration becomes the challenge. Meet the author, who is currently writing his third book, to hear his writing tales. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing. Registration is appreciated.
