Carl Dean is the author of two self-published books of poetry, Rhythm (2013) and Life...Through the Words & Between the Lines (2001). Carl has provided a creative platform for aspiring poets, writers, singers and artists to create, hone and share their talents at the University of Connecticut where he teaches a Performance Poetry course.  He has been a mainstay in Connecticut’s poetry scene for more than 15 years.

Donna Wilkinson Maxwell  is the author or My Heart in Time (2013) in which she shares her hope and faith, that with God, any obstacle can be overcome.  Her collection is a mix of thought provoking and inspiring poems, about life, love and relationships.  Writing gave her a voice, a platform.

Russ Salk was able to enjoy his artistic side after retiring from a business career with computers. He hosts music appreciation programs at Prosser Public Library and elsewhere. After discovering haikus, he took a chance and wrote some.   His collection of haikus, Full Moon Shining Bright, is easy to enjoy, showing a love of nature and music, and having fun with modern culture.

Each poet will read, and there will be time for refreshments, questions, book signings.
