Exercise your mind!  Learn all about brain foods for a healthy mind and body in tonight's free lecture on how to eat to promote a healthy brain.  Certain foods are considered 'inflammatory' which means when eaten, they cause inflammation in the body, and contribute to poor brain health as well as illness and chronic pain.  There are also foods designated as 'anti-inflammatory' which can help the brain and body to heal.  Dr. Ayelet Connell-Giammatteo will discuss foods that are good and bad for our brain, and offer tips on how to make the best food choices while enjoying what you eat. 

Ayelet Connell-Giammatteo, PhD, PT, IMT, is president and owner of Integrative Wellness and Physical Therapy in Bloomfield.  She is the author of many articles and a teaches courses in holistic physical therapy.
