Today's recordings include works by:
Elisabetta Brusa is a native of Milan, Italy. Her music has been  performed around the globe, and has been featured at Tanglewood. She says her music expresses "a multitude of widely differing musical and personal
feelings ... with messages of faith and hope for a ... peaceful future at a time of uncertainty and anxiety." She teaches both composition and traditional orchestration.

Brett Dean is Australian by birth, and started by playing the viola.  He began composing in the late 1980s while writing experimental film and radio scores in Germany, where he was a member of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra for 14 years.  He has an interest in electronics and sampling technology which he uses in some of his music.  He has had success with a clarinet concerto, a viola concerto, and piano quintet, among other works, while he remains active as a soloist, chamber musician, and conductor around the world.
Adam Schoenberg, an American composer, earned his Doctor of Musical Arts degree at Juilliard. He is currently a member of the composition faculty at the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. Nearly all of his
orchestral works have been performed by multiple orchestras. He has received many major commissions, including the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the Aspen Music
Festival and School.
