See Dancing for Mr. B (1 hour, 26 minutes)
Mr. B is George Balanchine, who took up where Massine left off as greatest choreographer. Massine created ballets without stories from music already written. Balanchine's work followed this pattern. Several dancers served as muses for him, some of whom he married. Today's film features the reminiscences of six of Balanchine's muses: Maria Tallchief, Mary Ellen Moylan, Melissa Hayden, Allegra Kent, Merrill Ashley, and Darci Kistler.
