Come read to a furry friend! Cold Noses, Warm Hearts, Inc., will visit the Prosser Library with registered therapy dogs and handlers trained in the Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.)® program. Established in 1999, "R.E.A.D. is the first and foremost program utilizing the companionship of therapy animals to encourage children's love of books and the reading environment while providing an opportunity for them to practice the full range of communication skills." Sign up for a 15-minute time slot. Please call the Library for your time slot. Open to all, including pre-readers, those with special needs, and those wishing to become comfortable around dogs.
