Come read to a furry friend!  Registered therapy dogs and handlers trained in the Reading Education Assistance Dogs (R.E.A.D.)® program will be visiting Prosser Library.  Established in 1999, "R.E.A.D. is the first and foremost program utilizing the companionship of therapy animals to encourage children's love of books and the reading environment while providing an opportunity for them to practice the full range of communication skills."
Sign up for a 15-minute time slot. Please call the Library for your time slot confirmation.
Open to all, including pre-readers, those with special needs, and those wishing to become comfortable around dogs. Registration is REQUIRED for this program. Call 860-243-9721.
