In keeping with the library's summer reading theme, tonight's piano concert will include music of the wider universe, the sun, moon and stars.
David Eberly is a graduate of the Hartt School, University of Hartford with a degree in Music with an Emphasis in Piano. He has been blind since birth and started playing piano by ear around age 3. He learned to read Braille music in third grade.
Eberly has played in local orchestras in the area and is a member of the Hartford Men of Harmony Barbershop Chorus. He has performed in the Hartford Public Library Sunday Jazz series, and in many venues in the Hartford area.
